After 6 weeks, your pet depends on you to continue that protection until their own immune system is fully developed. Our Puppy/Kitten Wellness Plan is designed to continue that protection by providing all services necessary to carry your young pet through the important first year of life. For maximum protection, we strongly recommend you enroll your pet in a Wellness Plan between 8 and 12 weeks of age.

WELLNESS PLUS PLAN BENEFITS
Routine wellness healthcare is the key to a longer, happier life for your young pet. The puppy and kitten plans we offer include a wellness exam, core vaccines, and dewormings necessary in the first year of life. The Wellness Plus Plans also include the spay or neuter surgery with pre-surgical bloodwork, IV catheter, hospitalization for the day, microchip, and a suture removal appointment.
WELLNESS CARE PLAN OVERVIEW
Dogs and cats age at a much faster rate than people. For every year that you age, your dog or cat can age from 6 to 8 years. The Bronze plan is designed for young adult pets and the Silver plan is designed for senior pets. Cats are considered senior after 10 years of age. However, dogs don’t have a universal age of seniority because of their wider variety in size. Larger breed dogs tend to have shorter life spans than smaller breeds.
The Wellness Care Plans offered by East Central Veterinarians for adults and seniors include recommended preventive care examinations, vaccines, and diagnostic tests essential to protect your pet and to detect health changes early, before they become life threatening.
80% of dogs and 70% of cats have oral disease by the age of 3. Wellness plans can be customized to include routine dental cleaning.

• Plan is nontransferable
• An appointment must be scheduled for all services to be covered
• Plan cannot be applied to past visits
• Dogs over 100 pounds will have an additional fee for heartworm prevention
• If the patient is in heat, pregnant, or cryptorchid at the time of surgery, additional fees will apply
ADULT AND SENIOR RESTRICTIONS:
• Plan is nontransferable
• An appointment must be scheduled for all services to be covered
• Plan cannot be applied to past visits
• Extractions, medications, and other charges incurred during a dental cleaning are at an additional cost
• Plans renew on an annual basis unless plan is canceled
• Dogs over 100 pounds will have an additional fee for heartworm prevention
• Cats over 22 pounds will have an additional fee for heartworm prevention
• Lifestyle vaccines (Lyme, Bordetella, Influenza, Feline Leukemia)
